Closet Organization Tips

When the fresh autumn air begins to cool in the morning and evening, beginning to pull my clothes and I look forward to the warm winter. In October, I'm tired of my summer clothes and get ready for the other half of my wardrobe.

October is the ideal month to clear your closet. How to put away the summer clothes (moving to the back of your closet, boxing it up, or putting them in a closet), a couple of minutes to really look at eachdocument and evaluate.

Here are some useful questions to ask when you start to organize your closet:

1. This piece fit and flatter my figure?

Often we cling to clothing in the hope that one day we'll be back in form in them. If you have an item for more than two years and still does not fit, you must let go. By the time fits comfortably again, you are ready for a new look.

2. I really like thispiece?

We must also adhere to many that "good" with the idea that one day it will be better for us. That never happens. Make space in your closet for clothes that I love you.

3. It is this piece to coordinate with other pieces in my closet?

Sometimes we "Lone Ranger", elements that do not go with something else. If you can not wear something that you have now, should go.

4. This piece shouldcleaned, repaired or altered?

All clothes must be clean and in good condition. Torn or stained items must be collected in a timely manner. Sometimes the cost of cleaning or repair is greater than the item is really worth it for you. In this case, let it go.

5. And 'this piece reflects the image that I want to portray?

As can be seen in different ways in our lives, we also need to change clothes. It 'good to say goodbye to the perfectnice clothes that do not reflect who we are in the present moment. Some pieces that look great on you are better than a closet full of things that do not.

After addressing your summer clothes, it's time to assess your winter wardrobe. Ask yourself the same questions. The change of seasons is a good time to re-evaluate your wardrobe and assess what you need for next season.
